Q. What does the scholarship cover?
A. The full scholarship covers the cost of registration for the 3 day conference. It does not cover the cost of travel or hotels.
Q. What is the deadline for application?
A. The application deadline is March before the conference date. The online application as well as ALL supplemental materials must be submitted by this date.
Q. Who is eligible to receive a scholarship to the BOOST Conference?
A. Only attendees are eligible to receive a scholarship to the BOOST Conference. Presenters, co-presenters, and registered exhibitors are not eligible.
Q. How do I apply?
A. The “Apply” tab on the right hand side of the page will bring you to an explanation of the application process and a link to the online application. In addition to the online application you will need to submit letters of recommendation (we suggest at least 2), and proof of funding for your program. These supplemental materials can be submitted to our office in 3 ways:
- Fax to: 619-795-3450
- Mail to: BOOST Collaborative
1286 University Avenue #739
San Diego, CA 92103
Q. When will I know if I have received a scholarship?
A. The recipients will be notified in late March.
Q. What are my chances of receiving a scholarship?
A. At this point our scholarship program is just beginning, but it is definitely starting to grow. While we do not know specifically now many scholarships will be awarded, we encourage those in need of assistance to apply.
Q. If I am awarded a scholarship, but find out I cannot attend the conference, can I transfer the scholarship to someone else or use it the following year?
A. No. Our scholarships are non-transferrable. In the event that you are awarded a scholarship and cannot attend we will ask you to forfeit your scholarship. We maintain a waiting list of applicants and need to honor their applications.
